It's helpful to remember that fellows work in paid, part-time internships.
Salary earned from the internship is yours to use as you see fit. Also, to keep the program affordable and to provide the community context of a Christian home, each fellow is housed at no cost by a family from McLean Presbyterian Church.
Individuals admitted to the Capital Fellows Program are encouraged to pursue financial and prayer support from family, friends and their church community. Upon acceptance into the program, we will provide you with a comprehensive fundraising packet to help you with this. More than half of all Capital Fellows fundraise at least part of their program fees. This deposit will be applied to the total tuition fees at the start of the program year in September.
Partial Scholarships. Through the generosity of supporters of the Capital Fellows program, a limited number of partial scholarships are available to fellows that can demonstrate financial need. Please contact the program staff for more information. We are now accepting applications for the program year.

Instructors: David Stephenson and Rob Yancey. The Capital Fellows Program is a vocational and leadership development ministry of the Capital Presbyterian Family, a multi-site church in the Northern Virginia section of the Washington, DC metro area. As a church, we exist to glorify and enjoy God by making disciples who make a difference through grace-filled worship, community, and missions.
The Capital Fellows program is an extension of this mission that seeks to equip and inspire a new generation of leaders for the workplace, church, home and society. As a growing church, we are seeking to serve the DC metro area by meeting where people live. We are one church that meets in multiple locations. While the majority of the Capital Fellows program activities are done as a whole group, some activities will be connected to one of the Capital Presbyterian Family sites.
About The Program. Vocation and Career. Leadership Development. Intentional Service to Others. Supportive Community. About The Internships. I also enjoy pick-up basketball. College was a wonderful season that helped me find my calling: serving others.
I hope this year is rooted in growth, spiritually, relationally, and personally. I am humbled to be working on Capitol Hill. After the fellows program I intend to apply to law school. I love to read, being outside, and exploring museums and gardens. I feel God is calling me to use my passions for people and the Gospel in ministry and teaching.
I applied to Fellows to learn to serve more humbly, joyfully and wholeheartedly. I enjoy hiking, reading, roller-blading, volleyball, playing piano, and dancing.
Growing up at MPC, the Fellows had a major impact on my life.
