Michael Metts. Given the right amount of time it might be possible among you super-intellects to read that much, but surely only a handful of scholars could afford 500 books a year. Buying 500 books must take several thousands of dollars a year. Not to mention storage costs. Do you professors always buy the books you read, or do you sometimes check them out at university libraries.
